Temple University Hospital aims to provide the highest level of cancer care for patients. Maintaining CoC accreditation helps keep our program at the forefront of cancer care. We are proud to have maintained our accreditation status since 1939, which is a true testament to the quality of care that is provided by our program. We have a robust and active Cancer Committee that includes members from multiple medical and surgical specialties, as well as members from administration, nursing, psychosocial services, nutrition, and numerous other specialties.

Quality data from the CoC helps us efficiently evaluate our outcomes and guide performance improvement when necessary. Much has changed in oncology in the over 80 years since our initial accreditation, but we remain committed to providing the best cancer care to our community and patients.
